Celebrating 10 Years of Love and Care at Tzu Chi’s Wilmington Community Clinic

In 2010, the Tzu Chi Medical Foundation (TCMF) in the United States established a Tzu Chi Community Clinic in Wilmington, CA, adjacent to the Port of Los Angeles. With compassionate outpatient services, medical outreach activities, and food distribution events, the clinic has become like another home for many locals. And ten years after its founding, this home energized by love and care still endures.

Providing Mindful Meals for a Better Tomorrow

Celebrating Vegetarianism at the Bakersfield’s Medical Outreach

While several states have raised the alarm on the spread of the new coronavirus disease, also known as COVID-19, Tzu Chi USA has been educating service users, volunteers, and staff on the importance of taking precautions and is canceling or postponing planned activities. Yet, while risk was still considered relatively low in the United States in February, the Tzu Chi Medical Foundation hosted a medical outreach in Bakersfield, CA, on February 23rd.

Mexico Outreach Brings Warmth in a Cold Winter

Tzu Chi USA volunteers have kept their promise since the 2017 Mexico earthquake. Volunteers and TIMA members from the United States provided their eighth medical outreach in Mexico from November 15th to 24th, 2019. During that time, the US team trained Mexican medical volunteers and recruited local professionals to join TIMA Mexico to provide health care for their communities.
