In 2020, Tzu Chi South El Monte Health Center was certified as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike, signifying and enhancing our capacity to deliver quality healthcare to neighboring communities. Our health center accepts Medi-Cal, Medicare and most health insurance plans. We provide assistance with Medi-Cal application and eligibility renewal. We are known for our compassionate care and affordable Sliding Fee Discount Program.

Dental services
Tzu Chi’s experienced dentists deliver excellent oral health care to help you achieve a bright smile. Our comprehensive dental care includes routine exams, digital x-rays, cleaning, fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions, dentures, and more. We provide dental care for the entire family and start when the child’s first tooth appears. We focus strongly on prevention and we empower our patients with the tools and knowledge to take care of their own teeth. We look forward to serving your oral health needs!
All the providers are trained to provide dental care to cooperative children. The nature of the care provided depends on the needs of the child and the child’s ability to cooperate.
Vision Services
Tzu Chi’s vision service provides ocular health examinations for everyone ages 3 and older. Annual eye exams can detect any vision or eye health problems that can potentially affect one’s ability to perform his or her best in daily activities. It can also detect changes from systemic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Eye Glass prescription will be given to those who need them. In addition, treatment of red eye, eye pain or dry eye is also within the scope of the practice.
Through patient education and preventative care, together, we can give you not only a clearer vision but ocular health that can last a life time.
Acupuncture services
Tzu Chi Acupuncture clinic is well-recognized for its acupuncture and holistic medicine. Combined with traditional Chinese herbal medicine, its acupuncturists deliver compassionate trusted health and wellness treatments to their patients.
