Every Woman Counts – Free Cancer Screenings!
We proudly offer the EWC Program at no cost to you. Every Woman Counts (EWC) program provides FREE, life-saving breast and cervical cancer screening services to those who may not otherwise be able to afford them.
Who is Eligible?
- Breast Cancer Screening: Women age 40 and older
- Cervical Cancer Screening: Women age 21–64
- Breast Cancer Diagnostic Services: Anyone (women or men) of any age with symptoms of breast cancer
Basic Eligibility Requirements
- California resident
- Low income (at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level)
- Uninsured or underinsured (no coverage for screening)

If you are currently uninsured and need help applying or have questions about Medi-Cal coverage or how to qualify for Medi-Cal, Buddhist Tzu Chi Health Centers’ Medi-Cal Assistance Team is ready to help. Our team can help you apply for Medi-Cal or answer any questions you have about the program.
