2023 Medi-Cal Renewal Notice
If you or a family member is enrolled in Medi-Cal, we courteously remind you that the State of California has announced that the COVID-19 State of Emergency ended on February 28, 2023. With the end of the state of emergency, annual Medi-Cal eligibility renewal will resume in April. The Department of Public Health will send a renewal form to determine your eligibility for Medi-Cal and ask that you mail it back within a specified time.
Please note: If you do not complete and return the form in time, or your income is above the threshold, your Medi-Cal benefits will be terminated. However, you can still enroll with other insurance plans.
If you or your family members have already enrolled in Medi-Cal, please be sure to fill in all required information and mail the form back as soon as possible. If you do not receive this renewal form, please:
- Check if your form has been sent to a previous address (such as an address you used when you applied for Medi-Cal)
- Call the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) at 1-866-613-3777.
