The past year has reminded us that one of the most precious things we can have is good health. As such, we warmly invite you to Tzu Chi USA’s virtual fundraising gala, taking place on the first day of spring. Our goal: to expand the reach of our medical mission to serve more people with greater compassion and care than ever.
Watch here LIVE or on Facebook on March 20, 2021
7pm EDT | 6pm CDT | 4pm PDT
Admission is free
During our virtual gala, you have a special opportunity to directly support…
International and domestic medical outreaches, bringing free healthcare services to the uninsured, underinsured, and disaster survivors
Healthy Community programs, addressing the wellness needs of those recovering from illness, plus detection, prevention, and health education
Health Centers, offering quality, regular care at affordable costs at permanent locations in Alhambra, South El Monte, and Wilmington, CA
Mobile clinics, offering on-site, state-of-the-art medical, dental, and vision care, usually traveling to remote or underserved areas
On November 1, 2020, our medical mission was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike, a community-based health care provider that meets the requirements of the HRSA Health Center Program, but does not receive Health Center Program funding.
Health Centers currently treat 1 out of every 11 patients in the United States and actively bridge the cultural, linguistic, geographic, and financial barriers our diverse communities face with quality and affordable care. This accreditation amplifies the reach of Tzu Chi Health Centers’ efforts to provide primary care to the underserved in numerous ways and offer care on a sliding fee scale based on ability to pay.
But, to maintain these benefits, Tzu Chi Health Centers must make modifications to our facilities, e.g. meet medical exam room size requirements, purchase equipment that accommodates service for children up to 17 years old, and upgrade existing equipment that maintains a high-level of quality care at our health centers and mobile units. With your generosity, we can do all this together. Let’s amplify health!
The donation transactions (value and frequency) will be updated every 1 minute. The above reported donations do not include offline donations.
